The Penobscot Sheriff’s Department arrested two suspects and is searching for more after an alleged burglary in Hermon on Monday led to a seizure of cocaine and firearms.

Penobscot deputies responded to a Bog Road residence in Hermon following a report of a burglary.

Surveillance footage showed multiple vehicles arriving at the residence and at least four male suspects exiting.

One suspect could reportedly be seen carrying a handgun.

The group of men allegedly forced entry into the empty home by breaking down the door.

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency (MDEA) joined the investigation and assisted in locating one of the suspect vehicles at a Bangor hotel.

Law enforcement saw two men enter the vehicle, pulled them over on Odlin Road in Bangor, and took them into custody.

Penobscot K-9 Memphis responded to the scene and allegedly detected drugs in the vehicle.

Deputies then applied for and received search warrants for the vehicle and allegedly located two handguns and over 220 grams of cocaine.

Carl Harvey, 34, of Glenburn, faces charges of burglary, criminal mischief, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and aggravated trafficking of Schedule W drugs.

Adam Brooks, 52, of Waterville faces charges of burglary, criminal mischief, unlawful possession of Schedule W drugs, aggravated unlawful trafficking of Schedule W drugs, and failure to register a vehicle.

The investigation and search for additional suspects remain ongoing with assistance from the federal Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

Cocaine and fentanyl are the real drug problem in Maine..
Shootings, assaults, and home invasions are
a result of out-of-state suppliers coming to
this state to collect their money…
Almost every bust involves locals (dealers)
and residents of Massachusetts or New York (suppliers)…
And why would 4 guys in car with New York plates be hanging out in in Burham?
