At approximately 6:38 p.m., the Bangor Police received reports of a break-in at a home on Essex Street.

An investigation revealed that Michael Clark, 46, of Columbus, Ohio, and Dovan Campbell of Tpsilanti, Michigan, allegedly entered their victim’s home and threatened her, assaulted her, and locked her in her bathroom.

The victim was able to escape from the building and call police.

Police arrested Clark and Campbell on charges of kidnapping, assault, and criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.
