National Democrat Party Still In Disarray Over 2024 Loss To Trump, Can’t Figure Out Who To Blame

The chairman of the Democratic National Committee says the party is doomed if it keeps attacking Republicans without offering solutions.

But Ken Martin is now under pressure to resign for saying out loud what he apparently shouldn’t have.

A Democrat congressman from Texas and the DNC’s vice chairman are both calling for Martin to step down.

They claim his autopsy of 2024 Democrat election losses failed to offer ways for the party to start winning.

But once again they’re blaming without any new and practical ideas for governing.

U.S. Rep. Marc Veasey, D-Texas, reveals his cluelessness by claiming that Martin is the party’s main problem.

“There doesn’t seem to be a plan to turn things around and the clock is ticking,” Veasey told Semafor’s Nicholas Wu. “November is literally around the corner. I believe it’s time for him to move on.”

Yet Veasey has no evidence to show Martin is the problem – showing by pure irony just how lost the Democrats are.

If Veasey had a brain, he’d look at Martin’s recommendation that Democrats need ideas to win and go ‘damn, wish I’d thought of that.

’But instead he’s doing exactly what Martin said Democrats need to stop doing – whining about the other guy without offering solutions.

No. 2 in the long line of brain-dead Democrats is David Hogg, who is Martin’s deputy.

DNC Vice Chairman Hogg is also calling for Martin to quit, saying he “has lost the confidence of his staff, supporters, and most importantly, millions of Americans counting on the DNC to help Democrats win up and down the ballot in 2026 and 2028.”

Hogg is just as clueless as Veasey by refusing to acknowledge the obvious – that Martin hit the nail on the head in his analysis of why Democrats lost in 2024.

In his own ignorance Hogg didn’t even realize that in his list of Martin’s alleged detractors he mentioned the American people last, behind “staffers and supporters.”

That says all one needs to know about how Democrats think – in process, not in reality.

Martin, meanwhile, did himself no favors when he said his own report forgot to itemize other party problems, such as its leaders having failed to realize Biden wasn’t fit to run for reelection and that Kamala Harris, his replacement, was simply incompetent.

So on the one hand Martin gets credit for saying the party needs to show it can govern or it’ll remain irrelevant.

Yet on the other he can’t leave well enough alone so he starts apologizing for an incomplete analysis.

To add insult to his own injury, he blames Biden’s old age as having been the problem without realizing the biggest issue was Joe’s policies, not just that he often looked like he’d just had a stroke.

If anyone needs to know why Democrats are flailing, you just read their own recipe for setting up a circular firing squad.
