SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine – With just eight days remaining before Maine’s June 9 Republican gubernatorial primary, candidate Jonathan Bush released his final television ad Monday, leaning into his outsider message and drawing a contrast with one of his Republican opponents.
The ad, titled “Join Me,” will begin airing statewide on June 1, according to the campaign.
“If you need a lobbyist in D.C., Bobby Charles might just be your guy,” Bush says in the ad. “But if you want a conservative businessman who will shake up Augusta, then vote for me.”
Bush, a businessman and political outsider, uses the spot to present himself as a conservative reformer focused on taxes, government waste, cultural issues and personal freedom.
“I’m Jonathan Bush. I’m an outsider, a job creator, and a disruptor,” Bush says in the ad. “As governor I will fight for you, slashing your taxes, shredding the waste, fraud, and woke insanity, keeping boys out of girls’ sports, and always protecting your freedom.”
The ad closes with Bush asking voters for their support ahead of the primary.
“I’m Jonathan Bush. I’d appreciate your vote,” he says.
Bush’s campaign describes him as a father of seven, a former ambulance driver, a former U.S. Army medic, and a CEO who helped bring 1,000 health care careers to Maine.
His campaign website is JonathanBush.org.

Goodbye Jon .
