The Penobscot Sheriff’s Department is searching for suspects after an Eddington man was stabbed in the neck during an alleged robbery on Thursday morning.

At approximately 5:30 a.m., Penobscot deputies responded to reports of a robbery on Chesnut Lane in Eddington.
Police arrived to discover an adult male suffering from a stab wound to his neck. He claimed that he had also been threatened with a firearm.
The victim told deputies that the suspects fled in a vehicle before deputies arrived.
Law enforcement believes the suspects left the immediate area.
The stabbing victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The Maine State Police is joining the Penobscot Sheriff’s Department Criminal Investigation Division in the search for the suspects.
