The Bangor Police Department arrested a homeless man on Sunday after he allegedly broke into multiple vehicles over the weekend.

At approximately 11:03 a.m., Officer Nathaniel Alvarado responded to Norway Road following a report of a vehicle burglary.
During the investigation, Alvarado identified Kevin Pullen, 36, who is homeless, as the suspect and allegedly determined that he had been involved in seven previous vehicle break-ins on Carver Street and Buck Street.
Another officer, Tyler Rusby, located Pullen and allegedly discovered several credit cards and cash from victims who had reported their cars had been burglarized.
Pullen was arrested and transported to the Penobscot County Jail.
Later that evening, at approximately 7:42 p.m., Officer Michael Blakely received a report of another vehicle break-in on Carver Street.
Blakely saw security footage from that incident and allegedly identified Pullen as the suspect. Additional charges were added after that discovery.
He was charged with eight counts of burglary of a motor vehicle and seven counts of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.
