To wit, political columnist (so-called) Steve Collins was so proud of himself calling for “an impartial investigation” of an ICE-involved shooting Monday in Biddeford.
So far so good Steve.
Then he added, “not one led by Trump’s hired hands.”
And…then… “Nothing ICE is doing is worth the bloodshed and trauma it is causing. Today’s killing in Biddeford just emphasizes that reality.”
Says the “impartial” Steve Collins.
So within the blink of an eye Collins went from pretending to keep an open mind to deciding nah, let’s go back to a good partisan bashing of the Trump administration.
Translation: we don’t really want an investigation, just an excuse to whine about President Trump.
The good news is fewer and fewer people are wasting their time paying for the Portland Press Herald’s blather.
The numbers are irrefutable.The (free) Maine Wire reached a milestone Monday of 200,000 followers on Facebook while the (paywalled) Portland Press Herald remained at a pathetic 94,000.Numbers don’t lie.

I’m pleased to see that circulation records seem to indicate that many other responsible and “thinking” readers are approving of The Maine Wire’s professionalism.
I stopped reading anything in the Portland Press Herald, BDN, Sun Journal,etc they are all propaganda for the Marxists. I have to hold my nose and try not to vomit when I watch the local media stations, I do not bother with Newscenter Maine they are a joke and bunch of liars.
