A shooting involving U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents occurred in Biddeford on Monday morning.
Reporting from the scene confirmed that shots were fired during the incident. The location of the events was identified in the vicinity of the intersection of Hill Street and Pool Street.
According to available information, a driver attempted to run over ICE agents with a vehicle. The agents fired shots in response, resulting in the driver’s death. Maine House Speaker Ryan Fecteau confirmed the incident.
Videos from the scene showed bullet holes in the vehicle’s windshield, investigators examining the area, and a large law enforcement presence.
As news of the shooting spread, hundreds of protesters gathered in Biddeford’s Mechanics Park and near the scene to demonstrate against ICE and demand accountability for the fatal shooting. Demonstrators carried signs opposing the agency and called for a full investigation into the incident. U.S. Rep. Chellie Pingree and former Maine Senate President Troy Jackson were among those who attended the protest and called for transparency surrounding the shooting.
The Department of Homeland Security has said the driver attempted to use the vehicle against federal agents, while the incident remains under investigation by federal and state authorities.

The Maine’s People Alliance is an extension of the criminal organization known as the Maine Democrat party. MPA receives significant funding from Maine’s AFL-CIO from civil servant dues revenue. MPA employees are unionized and pay dues…..
We need to pass legislation that forces civil servant labor organizations to disclose their finances to audit. Any excess money not used for “representation” must be returned to the employees. This would eliminate support for the MPA and other terrorist like proxies.
