A New York woman was sentenced to time served on Tuesday after she used stolen identities to withdraw $8,000 before being arrested in Freeport.

Lisa Campos, 59, was sentenced to time served by U.S. District Judge John A. Woodcock Jr. in the U.S. District Court in Portland, to be followed by three years of supervised release.
Prior to her sentencing, Campos had been in jail for 28 months.
Campos was first arrested in May 2023 after she attempted to withdraw funds from credit union accounts belonging to two victims.
She presented a fake passport card at the banks and successfully withdrew $8,000 from one credit union branch.
She tried and failed to withdraw funds from two other branch locations.
Shortly after Campos left the third branch, she was located by the Freeport Police Department.
Campos then provided the fake passport card and a debit card, both in the name of one of the victims, as identification to the officers.
She was arrested and eventually pleaded guilty to charges of bank fraud, false use of a passport, and aggravated identity theft.
