Graham Platner’s campaign posted an urgent job listing for a new research director responsible for “defense strategies” on Tuesday, one day after a new rape allegation led him to cancel events and prompted many of his left-wing supporters to urge him to drop out of the race.

“Job Opportunity! Graham Platner for U.S. Senate is immediately hiring a Research Director to develop a comprehensive research and vetting strategy and build comprehensive defense strategies and rapid-response toolkits. Salary range of $7k –$11k/month,” said the official X account of DayBook, a job search tool specializing in political job postings.
The official listing, posted to Daybook on July 7, comes as Platner’s campaign scrambles to deal with new allegations that he raped an ex-girlfriend while blackout drunk, and amid calls to end his campaign so a Democrat not yet tainted by sexual abuse allegations could have a chance to defeat Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine).

According to the listing, the campaign is looking for a candidate who can develop a research and vetting strategy to obtain the information Platner needs to take on billionaires and the candidates they support.
“The ideal candidate will have experience conducting opposition and self-research for a federal campaign, be highly organized, and bring a sharp, analytical, and rapid-response approach to political strategy,” says the listing.
Though the job listing presents a variety of responsibilities, perhaps the most difficult for a Platner staffer is the requirement to “anticipate opponent lines of attack and build comprehensive defense strategies.”
Given that the listing was posted one day after the new rape allegation, any candidate would seemingly be signing up to defend an accused rapist after the majority of his national supporters already abandoned him.
Applicants can expect a compensation range of $7,000-$12,000 per month and health benefits, and can submit their resumes to [email protected].

Noticed the yard signs came down in the county. lol. Even the libs have had enough.
Schadenfreude…..
$12,000 a month is $144,000 a year — that’s well over twice the median household income in the State of Maine. So much for understanding the poor….
Too funny !
Just read the article on The Robinson Report about Platner’s wife being investigated for Maine Care fraud .
These Platner’s really are a couple of pieces of work !
Do you think there are still people stupid enough to vote for this guy ?
I’m betting that there are .
$7-11K per month…I’ll take the job. My advice? kiss your ass goodbye (do it in the porta-potty). Don’t forget to sign my check before you go!
Who ever gets the job…make sure you get paid in advance!
It is the Democratic leadership which is at fault for not making a vetted choice. They do not care.
Two more lives runed by the Democrats commie leadership.
Search for candidates in what is left of the Epstein empire. I’m sure there are 1 or 2 suc….I mean people with the required experience.
Is there any wonder why the People’s Republic of Maine is in the shape it’s in. 150,000 low IQ and brain dead democupts voted for this jerk. The most any democupt ever received in a primary. Time to skedaddle out of this one party socialist utopia.
I’m pretty sure it was Hank Williams Jr. Wild Streak album, song title “What you don’t know won’t hurt you…..” mmmm ?
BUT there’s another tune that is something like, ” people get paid to watch people who are watching you”. Check it out on the interwebs. My research doesn’t involve having to send the interns to therapy after words. Just saying.
