A so-called political info site apparently based in Florida posted a new Collins vs. Jackson U.S Senate poll with mug shots of each.
Only problem is Troy Jackson isn’t black.
Technopolitix says on its website “We follow trends, make strategies & get real results.”
The strange post certainly got results – from dozens of followers pointing out the Maine Democratic candidate running against five-term Republican Susan Collins isn’t the black man pictured on the post.
A Maine Wire reporter posted the gaffe on X with a screen grab ensuring if it gets corrected it will live on.
“Whether you’re a local business, running for city council, school board, mayor, state legislature, leading an advocacy campaign, or promoting a non-profit, knowing where to focus can make all the difference.” – Technopolitix, St. Augustine, Florida, web site.
The poll shows the white Collins beating the white Jackson 47 percent to 46 percent, in case anybody was wondering…
The identity of the black man whose mug was standing in for Troy Jackson was unknown at press time.

I reckon old carmudgeon Troy got his arse a tan.
His skin IS NOT as dark as that .
His two front teeth might be , but not his skin color .
There are plenty of dim bulbs in Florida too , just so you know .
Certainly an upgrade visually.
