A group of six minors, including a 10-year-old, allegedly beat a homeless man on the bridge between Berwick and Somersworth, New Hampshire, last month, leading to his hospitalization.

On July 10 at approximately 11:36 p.m., the Berwick and Somersworth Police Departments responded to the bridge between the towns for reports of a man lying on the bridge following an assault.

Witnesses reported seeing a group of juveniles beating the man in the roadway.

They allegedly honked their car horn at the juveniles, who then reportedly dispersed into Berwick.

Police identified the victim as a 45-year-old man. He was suffering from a broken nose and jaw, was transported to Wentworth Douglas Hospital in Dover, NH, and has since been released.

Throughout the night, police worked to identify five of the six juveniles—one 15-year-old, one 10-year-old, and three 12-year-olds—involved in the alleged assault and conducted interviews.

Police later reviewed video of the scene.

The video allegedly showed a verbal exchange between the victim and the minors. The minors then reportedly surrounded the man, who attempted to leave and was knocked to the ground before being kicked twice in the head.

The 15-year-old was charged with aggravated assault, and the three 12-year-olds were each charged with disorderly conduct. Maine law prevented any charges from being filed against the 10-year-old.

The remaining juvenile was never located.

Though the incident took place on July 10, and the press release was dated July 31, it was not actually released until Monday.

Parents are legally responsible for their children until they turn 18. Hold these little idiots parents responsible for their children’s actions, and ensure those kids clean public toilets for a year. Also having them spend a night in the Maine State Prison might also be a plus for these little turds.
