Truck Explodes Near Maine Governor’s Mansion; No Injuries

No one was injured when a truck suddenly caught fire and exploded between the Chamberlain Parking Garage and the Blaine House where Gov. Janet Mills lives on Thursday around 2:30 pm.

One witness shared video of the second explosion.

Witnesses reported hearing two loud booms and seeing flames and black smoke rise from the bed of a truck.

The vehicle appeared to be unoccupied. Emergency responders were on the scene.
