Portland Police announced Monday that over the past seven days they have seized a total of 37.7 grams of fentanyl from three separate arrests.
According to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), just 2 milligrams of fentanyl can be considered a potentially lethal dose — meaning from March 5-11, Portland Police took nearly 20,000 potential fatal doses of fentanyl off the streets.
Portland Police say the first of the three arrests was on Tuesday, March 5, shortly after 2 a.m.
Police say they received a report of a driver operating under the influence on Gray Street, and after a traffic stop arrested 42-year old Dan Doody of South Portland.
Doody was found in possession of 11 grams of fentanyl, and was charged with Unlawful Trafficking in Scheduled Drugs and Violating Conditions of Release, police said.

Police say Steward was in possession of 11.5 grams of Fentanyl, 2.5 grams of Cocaine hydrochloride and 1.9 grams of Gabapentin, an anticonvulsant drug frequently combined with opioids.

Well the liberal left run cities in Maine are following the the big left cities of NY, DC and others. All run by Democrates. Good thing Portland does not have a subway!
Probably a psy-op, designed to make drug-illegalization look like it’s being done for OUR benefit–because those in power would LOSE SO MUCH FREAKING MONEY IF ALL THESE DRUGS WERE LEGALIZED, & so many fewer ppl would be in jail, which means those in power would also be losing gobs of money.
