Biden Accuses Trump of Planning to Jail Political Opponents While Dems Actively Try to Jail Trump

President Joe Biden’s campaign issued a statement criticizing former President Donald Trump for allegedly planning to jail his political opponents if he takes office, a statement that came less than a full week after President Trump was convicted on 34 felony counts in what is widely believed to be a politically motivated trial.

“Reeling and increasingly unhinged from his own felony convictions, Trump raising plans to jail his political opponents is just the latest proof that he will do anything to regain power, preserve his own freedom, and seek revenge on any who opposes him,” said the Biden Harris Campaign in a statement published on X.

The statement came in response to two comments made by Trump.

One came during an interview with Newsmax where he said that it was “possible” that his opponents would face prosecution after he was forced to undergo a politically motivated trial.

The other comment came during a Fox News interview with host Sean Hannity, where Trump claimed that, following his own prosecution, he would have “every right” to prosecute his political opponents if he takes office.

Despite that statement, however, Trump also claimed in the interview that people who think he will prosecute his opponents are wrong.

President Biden’s statement drew significant backlash from conservatives, who believe that the president’s message is hypocritical since it comes as a Democrat judge, a Democrat prosecutor, and former high-ranking lawyer from Biden’s Justice Department ran the widely-panned NYC trial that may lead to Trump’s imprisonment.

“Tweeting this while jailing YOUR political opponent without any sense of shame,” said X user End Wokeness in what became the most liked reply to the statement.

The critical response to Biden’s statement received significantly more likes than the statement itself.

In the same post, Biden doubled down on a narrative from earlier this year which took a quote from Trump out of context when he used the word “bloodbath” in a campaign speech.

“Trump is pledging to rule as a dictator on ‘day one,’ punish his enemies, embrace violence done on his behalf, and warns of a bloodbath if he loses,” said the Biden Campaign.

In March, liberal media outlets and Democrat politicians criticized Trump for threatening to bring about a bloodbath if he is not re-elected, but, in context, Trump was referring to the dire economic consequences for the auto industry if Biden serves another term, not a physical bloodbath.

Despite backlash from the statement, the Biden Campaign doubled down on the same line of criticism, putting out another, similar statement later on the same day, accusing Trump of being “consumed by revenge.”

“Donald Trump is so consumed with personal grievance that he does not care who he hurts so long as Trump benefits. That’s why he sicced a violent mob on the Capitol in an attempt to overturn the 2020 election he lost,” said the Biden campaign.

As Biden criticizes Trump, the former president is currently awaiting sentencing which was scheduled for July 11, just three days before the Republican National Convention.

The sentencing could place Trump in prison, leaving him in the unprecedented position of receiving an official party nomination from a jail cell.

Just so the last person who hasn’t figured it out yet, let me splain it. Dims accuse repubs of EVERYTHING they’re doing. If a Dim said it, a Dim done it, end of story.

The Marxist Democrats always accuse conservatives of what they’re doing.
Just Look at who they’re Locking up, conservatives lawyers, reporters, media mogul and Presidents. Steve Bannon is the latest victim.

This all happens while Mike Johnson, Jim Jordan and James Comer run around hitting all the talk shows claiming to be our great saviors. When in fact they’re part of the problem. They could have defunded DoJ and FBI. But no, couldn’t do that. Mike Johnson was the vote that allow FISA to continue spying on Americans. Time to go on offense. Fight fire with fire.
