South Portland Police have identified two suspects they are searching for in relation to a Wednesday afternoon shooting that stemmed from an altercation in the parking lot of a steakhouse near the Maine Mall.

Shots were fired and hit a vehicle at the intersection of Gorham Road and Western Avenue in connection to an argument that started at Kobe Steakhouse, though no one was injured in the shooting.

South Portland Police said Thursday that they have probable cause to charge the following two individuals and are asking for the public’s help in locating them:

  • Navinn Ean, 21, of Westbrook, for charges of reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, driving to endanger, and three counts of violating conditions of release — police say Ean was out on three separate bail conditions at the time of the shooting incident;
  • Jonathan Hanson, 21, of Buxton, for charges of reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, criminal mischief and terrorizing.

Police said they are also looking for Ean’s vehicle, a blue 2018 four-door Dodge Charger with a Maine Black Bear license plate # SRT74.

Police warned that if anyone sees these two suspects or the vehicle, they should not approach them, but call local law enforcement or 911.
