In April, the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office discovered Withee dead with gunshot wounds at her home on Canaan Rd in Hartland.

Following an autopsy on April 14, the death was determined to be a homicide caused by multiple gunshot wounds.

The investigation continued until Wednesday, when the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit Central arrested Coombs at 8:00 p.m. and transported her to the Somerset County Jail.

According to Somerset County Jail records, Coombs is being held without bail and has been charged with murder.

Police have not released any information on Coombs’s suspected motive or the circumstances surrounding the murders.
