Four individuals were arrested last week in Brooks following a months-long investigation into drug trafficking in Waldo County, authorities announced.

On Wednesday, June 18, Maine State Police troopers, alongside deputies from the Waldo County Sheriffโ€™s Office and an investigator from the Maine Department of Corrections, executed a search warrant at 23 Gardner Drive in Brooks.

The joint operation targeted the residence, which was identified by investigators as a hub for distributing fentanyl and crack cocaine in the greater Waldo County region.

During the search, law enforcement seized multiple firearms, a significant amount of cash, approximately 87 grams of fentanyl powder, 5 grams of crack cocaine, and illegally possessed prescription drugs.
