Under Maine’s criminal code, an “electronic weapon” means a portable device or weapon from which an electrical current, impulse, wave or beam may be directed, which current, impulse, wave or beam is designed to have a disabling effect upon human beings.

No details were provided by the Sheriff’s Office regarding what the electronic weapon Green allegedly used. They also did not indicate if the people inside of the home were injured, or to what degree.

This story is developing and will be updated with any additional information.
