Vassalboro Bust Leads to Three Arrests and Seizure of Cocaine and Nine Firearms

The Kennebec County Sheriff’s Department busted a trio of alleged drug traffickers on Wednesday when they executed a search warrant at a Vassalboro residence.

At around 6:00 a.m. Kennebec County Deputies, along with Maine State Police and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency (MDEA) executed a search warrant at 635 Webber Pond Road in Vassalboro.

The Sheriff’s Department obtained the warrant after a months-long investigation, initiated by Deputy Jeff Boudreau, into alleged drug trafficking at the residence.

During the execution of the search warrant, law enforcement seized 27.3 grams of crack cocaine/cocaine along with nine firearms and made three arrests.

Law enforcement arrested Jody D. Jose, 38, of Vassalboro, and charged him with unlawful trafficking of schedule drugs, unlawful possession of schedule drugs, and possession of a firearm as a prohibited person. He was issued a $50,000 bail.

Britney D. Loucks, 31, of Vassalboro, faces charges for unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs and unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, and was issued a $5,000 bail.

Justin Porier, 28, of Madison, faces charges for failure to appear on a previous drug possession charge. The Sheriff’s Department did not provide a mugshot for Porier.

All three suspects are being held at the Kennebec County Correctional Facility.
