A Tewksbury, Massachusetts, comedian was arrested on Monday after he allegedly crashed his Tesla through a Manchester, New Hampshire, home following a high-speed attempt to flee a traffic stop.

Manchester Police responded to 733 Island Pond Road after reports that a white Tesla had crashed into a house. Police arrived and discovered that the vehicle had caused significant structural damage to the home.

Manchester Fire Department personnel forced their way into the house to conduct a welfare check and found four dogs uninjured inside.

Police identified the driver as 37-year-old Alan Piket of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, and took him into custody.

A law enforcement investigation found that the New Hampshire State Police had encountered Picket’s car shortly before the investigation, when he was allegedly traveling at high speeds northbound on Interstate 93.

Police tried to initiate a stop, but Picket allegedly fled and left the highway at Exit 6. He reportedly reached speeds of 100 mph on East Industrial Drive, where the speed limit is just 30 mph. During that flight from the police, he allegedly struck a home near the intersection of East Industrial Drive and Island Pond Road.

Picket faces charges of reckless conduct with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief.
