On Monday evening at about 5:22 p.m., Lincoln deputies responded to calls from a victim in Hermon claiming that her partner, Timothy N. Pendleton, 44, of Hermon, was destroying things at their shared home.
Prior to the incident, the victim reportedly received a protection order against Pendleton, but the order had not yet been served.
Deputies attempted to serve the protection order when they arrived, but Pendleton allegedly refused to accept it, leave the residence, or submit to arrest.
Deputies then obtained a search warrant for the residence and an arrest warrant for Pendleton and took him into custody.
He was charged with violating a protective order, refusing to submit to arrest, and domestic violence terrorization.

The next day, deputies responded at around 4:19 p.m. to a report from Levant that Travis Rideout, 36, of Levant, was acting disorderly at a residence.
Deputies investigated and allegedly established probable cause to arrest Rideout for domestic violence and criminal threatening.
Rideout reportedly refused to submit to arrest, prompting deputies to surround the residence and obtain an arrest warrant and search warrant.
The standoff reportedly lasted for several hours before Rideout surrendered and was taken into custody.
He faces charges of criminal threatening and domestic violence.

The Sheriff’s Department pointed out that both incidents required the use of significant resources and impacted the department’s ability to provide other services.
Both men were reportedly released on bail. Notably, Pendleton still appeared on the Penobscot County Jail inmate directory as of Wednesday morning, but Rideout did not.
