The Rockland Police Department arrested a man during a Tuesday warrant execution while he was out on bail following prior felony drug charges.

At approximately 3:15 p.m., police executed a search warrant at a Thomaston Street residence as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

During the operation, officers allegedly seized crack and powder cocaine along with heroin and fentanyl.

Police arrested Charles Dodge, 43, of Rockland, and charged him with felony unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs and violation of conditions of release.

He was out on several different sets of bail conditions, some  related to prior felony drug charges and earlier charges of violating conditions of release.

Dodge was transported to the Knox County Jail, where he is currently being held. It is not clear whether he will be released once again despite his history of allegedly re-offending.

In 2012, Dodge was arrested in connection with an alleged scheme to traffic stolen guns from Maine into Massachusetts in exchange for illegal drugs.

Police also charged Krysti Hallett, 42, of Rockland with unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and violation of conditions of release, though she was seemingly not actually taken into custody.
