Democrat Gubernatorial Hopeful Hannah Pingree Just Came Out of Her Cave In Clear Move Of Desperation

Hannah Pingree apparently just woke up and suddenly realized she’s about to lose the Democrat primary for governor.

Pingree on Saturday came out smoking – but not against her Democrat opponents.

No, she came out with a Facebook post attacking Bobby Charles, the leading GOP primary candidate.

“This guy’s bigotry has no place in Maine politics,” she said. “I’m sick of it and will wipe the floor with him in November if he makes it out of the Republican primary.”

Whoa, baby!

Where did that come from?

Most obviously it came in response to Charles posting on Facebook, “This is Maine, not Somalia. I will deport the illegals, ban Sharia law and work to block more resettlements.”

The problem for Pingree isn’t Bobby Charles.

It’s Nirav Shah, the media darling who despite his abysmal efforts managing pandemics in now two states is about to become his party’s nominee, judging by the latest polls.

Pingree apparently thinks she’s running in the Republican primary, aiming her guns at the likely GOP nominee.

Either that or she’s just won her own party’s primary by personal acclamation.

The former Maine House speaker and late pick of two-term-limited Democrat Gov. Janet Mills has been a candidate now for a full year.

But suddenly Pingree has decided that with roughly two weeks before Maine’s primaries she’s going to start campaigning?

The other thing is, early “absentee” voting began last week so arguably thousands of Mainers have already cast their ballots.

The daughter of U.S. Rep. Chellie Pingree clearly figured she’d coast on Mommy’s name recognition so she did nothing in the way of campaigning for 12 months, a full year.

Now suddenly realizing she’s not winning on Mommy’s coattails, young Pingree is trying to make up for lost time.

If it took her a year to figure out the problem with her own campaign, then that’s a clear window in how she’d govern the state where Minnesota-born Mom decided to give birth to her.

To know how a candidate would govern watch how she campaigns.

A candidate who’s a blind, clueless campaign strategist would bring that ignorance to the corner office.

Democrat Hannah Pingree can pound her fists on the table to sound tough against Republican Bobby Charles, but what she really needs to do is go after the Shah of Maine, who is her actual, not imagined, opponent.

But it’s too late for that.

So Hannah figured she’d go to Plan B – ignore Shah and pretend she’s already beaten him.

She’s figuring that talking trash about Bobby Charles will make voters think she’s already the Democrat nominee.

Big mistake.

The problem for Hannah is it’s too late to do anything about it.

Perhaps it would be worth while for the Maine Wire to do a search on Shah’s history with the Veterans’ Administration in Illinois. Shah was a doctor/administrator at a large VA hospital where he misdiagnosed a major epidemic of Legionnaire’s’ Disease. This error resulted in some 45 very sick patients and 13 deaths. Shah beat feet out of there and ran to the end of the World, i.e. Maine, where he was hired up just in time to lead the State down the ignorant over reactions to the Covid Plandemic. Maine does not need him as a physician and, most certainly, not as the State’s Governor.

So her mother hates Trump and she hates Charles .
Is that all that either of them have ?
Seems so .
Maine needs more republicans and less hate .

Gardiner is spot on…even both Dem Senators Durbin and what’s her face would not support Shah…chased him outta state..
What I find interesting is Shah now and even during covid introduces himself absent the “Dr” bit…yet all those who worship the ground this clown stood on always called him Dr Shah…and for most doctors their ego loves using the Dr bit all the time…so why doesn’t this joker..?
So if he is a Doctor…what is xactly is his degree..?
As he could have a PHD is anything and be called a Dr…?
So what is it Mr Shah…tell us your degree and back it up with the proof needed to overcome your past bullshit…

Rusty,

Anyone with a doctorate legally can use the title “Doctor”, but only a MEDICAL Doctor can use the suffix MD. A doctor of osteopathy, which is considered the same as a medical doctor now, can use the initials DO.

A PhD is a doctor of philosophy, which includes my brother who has an esoteric doctorate in a combination of both chemistry and physics involving magnetic resonance. By contrast, an EdD (which I have) is a doctor of education.

The relevance here is that while psychiatrist are required to have an MD, a psychologist will have either a PhD or an EdD, and my attitude is if they’re gonna call themselves doctors, then so am I. Remember that the PhD or EdD is scholarly research and the publication of dissertation — I actually have a 203 page book in the Library of Congress, or at least I paid for one to be there. The MD evolves graduating from medical school, and then usually residency in the rest.

As to Shah, an interesting question is if he actually has a MD license because the VA, being federal, is exempt from state licensing laws. There was a scandal a while back about medical doctors in VA hospitals, who didn’t have licenses, and the VA then required them to obtain a license in the state in which the hospital is located. Fish and wildlife does the same thing with CDL’s, requiring its employees to maintain a CDL in the state in which they’re working (I.e. Driving hatchery trucks) even though federal employees are exempt.

Perhaps MW might want Chase down the status of whatever license or licenses Shah may have. Even though he would not have renewed the one in the distant state where he was in charge of the VA hospital, they would still have a record of him having had one at the time, if he did.

So Hannah Pingree coasts on the name of her mother, U. S. Rep. Chellie Pingree, who in 2024 was one of only 44 lawmakers – including “the Squad” – who voted AGAINST a House resolution declaring the pro-Palestinian chant “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” antisemitic. In my opinion, it puts Hannah Pingree in the despicable company of bigots like Bernie Sanders and Graham Platner whom I believe “never should have been and never should be elected to government office in the United States,” if “We the People” are to keep our Republic free of the heinous bigotry of antisemitism.

Non of the Demo-rat candidates can figure out how to campaign. That’s because they have no substance to run on and rely on cheating the vote to win.

Guess she is tired of the “I’ll defeat the Trump agenda at every turn”? Losing her “free” oysters? or did she realize that one of the candidates not only is her competition for governor but also is who counts the votes?

She’s pretty much useless. Riding on her mother’s coattails to get a job living off the gov’t tit. Go back to North Haven and get a real job like clamming. She wouldn’t last 2 minutes. Better yet, go back to Minnesota and take mom with you. Maine will be much better off with you two flat landers gone, gone, gone.
