Former Clinton Pollster, Campaign Manager Says Platner Can’t Beat Collins – And That’s Coming From A Top Democrat

Political commentator Dick Morris dismissed the chances of Democrat Graham Platner defeating five-term U.S. Sen. Susan Collins, despite a recent poll showing Platner leading the longtime Republican incumbent by seven points.

Speaking Saturday on Newsmax‘s “Saturday Report,” Morris said he did not believe the polling reflected the eventual outcome of the race and predicted Collins would win reelection comfortably.

“I don’t know if that poll is right, but there is no way in hell that Platner is going to win,” Morris said. He argued that a Collins victory would significantly complicate Democratic efforts to flip the Senate.“The significance of that race is very important,” Morris said. “Nationally, the Democrats need four seats to take over the Senate. And there goes one of them.” Morris became a political adviser to the White House after Bill Clinton was elected president in 1992. He encouraged Clinton to pursue policies of “triangulation” that combined traditional Republican and Democratic proposals, rhetoric, and issues so as to achieve maximum political gain and popularity.

Dick Morris is a has been in the current political landscape. One has to look at the new dynamics of national politics today and the move to elect younger, more dynamic candidates. The Boomer generation can no longer elect the who wins in a particular election – they’re dying faster and the 65-72 age group is not all-in on Trump’s world or lack there of world view. Platner is the perfect storm to defeat Collins. It will be a close race, but Independents will push Platner over the line. Bank it.

People MUST hold their nose and vote for Collins. If you think prices were high under Biden, if democrats gain control it will be higher than that. We will lose freedom after freedom. Platner is a phony but he can sure talk a good line, must like Hitler did.

If Platner beats Collins I will give up ALL hope that Maine can ever return to what it once was .
If a Democrat wins the governors race I will give up as well .

this guy’s on 100% VA disability? I still want to know what it is that is his disability. Other than being a democrat Nazi. He seems to be able to get around ok. If it’s in the head why are they letting him run for senate. Just another biden with handlers pulling the strings. .

Collins better go on the attack nonstop on this know-nothing, nobody, fraud. He’s a weak candidate and a reflection of how desperate the Democratic Party has become.

from Dick Morris’ mouth to gods ear.

FU Moe, Moe’s question sounded reasonable ” If it’s in the head why are they letting him run for senate.” Thanks for the list but half of it is B.S. Seems as though you are a Platner brown shirt or one of those people that believe if someone serves, that person deserves special consideration. NOT SO! Oh, BTW yes, I served.
