At aproximately 3:52 a.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at the gas station.

A clerk allegedly informed them that a male suspected had entered the store and forcibly stole money from behind the register.

The clerk gave police a description of the suspect, and officers began searching for him upon their arrival on the scene.

Officers reportedly spotted a man matching the suspect’s description entering a nearby building, and apprehended him.

A search of the suspect allegedly revealed evidence related to the robbery.

The suspect was identified as Samuel Hurt, 44, of Lewiston.

He was arrested and charged with robbery and theft by unauthorized taking.

So samuel rolled the dice. Ha Ha Ha Ha 7/11 (where’s Howe when you need him)
He was arrested and charged with robbery and theft by unauthorized taking. Does it have to state “unauthorized taking”? Isn’t that what theft means?
Perhaps Mr. Hurt is used to throwing his weight around and decided he could “help himself”.
He’s a good boy, a very good boy.
