An Indiana man was sentenced to just 30 days in prison on Wednesday after he sexually grabbed two minor girls on a flight into Portland in December 2024.

Judge John A. Woodcock, Jr., of the U.S. District Court in Portland handed down the sentence after Aiden J. Carter, 27, of Indiana, pleaded guilty in December 2025.

In December 2024, Carter was a passenger on a flight to Portland and was seated next to a 17-year-old girl.

He grabbed the girl’s thigh without her consent, and she pushed his hand away.

After the 17-year-old pushed him away, Carter repeatedly reached across the plane’s aisle, and grabbed and squeezed the thigh of a 16-year-old sleeping passenger.

Carter’s groping woke the girl up, and he reached towards her genitals before being stopped.

The Portland Police Department and the FBI investigated the case after the plane arrived at its destination.

In addition to his minuscule 30-day jail sentence for sexually assaulting two minors, Carter will be required to complete a “sex offender evaluation” and “any recommended treatment” and will be subject to five years of supervised release.

The sentence notably did not require him to register as a sex offender.

This is nothing. Israeli prison guards beat and rape hostage’s all the time. Israeli hostage guards train German Shepards to rape hostages. Fact.

When you realize how much trouble he is going to have if he ever attempts to fly anywhere again, I think this is a fair sentence. 30 nights in a federal prison is not gonna be pleasant, he has a criminal record now and will ban him from a lot of fields of employment.

I also presume he’s been banned from that particular airline, and now that we only have four lines in this country, that’s gonna be significant.

I compare this to Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker’s son who did the same thing with total impunity, albeit not to a minor. As long as he actually has to do the 30 days and it stays on his record, I think this is fair.

Woodcock and Carter deserve to be hung together. There is no excuse for assaulting minors. Death is the only option. When the courts show their allegiance to pedophiles and rapists then justice can be justifiably handled by the public. Woodcock will die with a surprise on his face if we don’t remove it first. Pathetic

There are also federal sentencing guidelines, and the maximum that a judge can send someone to without getting overturned. If the judge had given a 20 year sentence, that would’ve been thrown out with the end result being probably no jail time at all.

Cheshire Cat- I was thinking the same damn thing. 👍🏻🎯 30 days is total BS! How about 5-10 years for this POS?!! Is this low enough under “federal guidelines”so it doesn’t get thrown out?!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! 😡

Must have been a typo. 30 days. Should have been 30 years. 15 for each. It’s a two fer. Speaking of toof. They won’t be getting any “free” dental work, so don’t ask.

Have fun.
