At approximately 8:20 a.m., the Thornton, NH police responded to a residence on Mad River Road after a 911 caller reported a shooting.

Police arrived to discover Leah Anderson, 21, allegedly suffering from a gunshot wound to her head.

She was transported to a hospital for treatment but succumbed to her injury.

After the alleged shooting, law enforcement arrested the victim’s brother, Logan Anderson, 18.

Logan Anderson was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.

He has since pleaded not guilty and is being held without bail.

Police have not released any information on the potential motive behind the alleged murder.

The victim, Leah Anderson, was a student at Plymouth State University, where she majored in elementary education and youth development.

“Whether at Plymouth State or in the broader community, she was known for her caring nature, her warmth, and her ability to make others feel valued. More than one person shared that Leah could brighten someone’s day without even realizing it simply because kindness came so naturally to her. That generosity of spirit is how many will remember her,โ€ Plymouth State University President Donald L. Birx told People.

We didn’t have this behavior before the removal of prayer in school. Deny it all you want, but let’s have proof with your denial.
