At 9:45 a.m., troopers responded to reports of a suspicious person on 33 Waukewan Road in New Hampton, NH.

Troopers arrived to discover Vanessa Cooke-Case, 50, of New Hampton, who was served with a no trespass order.

Later that day, at approximately 4:00 p.m., troopers returned to the same area following reports that Cooke-Case was verbally threatening her neighbors.

Troopers began investigating and remained in the area.

Four hours later, at 8:00 p.m., troopers responded to 343 Winona Road in New Hampton after callers reported that Cooke-Case was firing a gun into the air.

Troopers arrested Cooke-Case and secured the area.

She was charged with reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, criminal trespass, and simple assault.

The motive behind Cooke-Case’s alleged behavior is not clear, and the investigation remains ongoing.
