Golfing great Phil Mickelson is denying a woman’s claim that got him removed from a California golf course and pulled out of its membership ranks.
Mickelson, 56, was accused of inappropriate physical contact with a female employee at The Farms Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe, California, one of Mickelson’s long-time hangouts and essentially his hometown course.
His lawyer issued a statement denying that the incident occurred.”There is a great deal of misinformation circulating attorney Tom Clare said. “He has retained defamation counsel and is determined to hold accountable any publication or individual trafficking in speculation or false rumors.”
After the woman filed the complaint against Mickelson, club officials actually went on to the golf course and ordered him off the property in the middle of his game.
They then went even further, immediately revoking his membership.
And if that all weren’t enough, they took down a picture of him from the clubhouse.
Mickelson, known as “Lefty,” has won 45 events on the PGA Tour, including six major championships.
His majors include three Masters titles (2004, 2006, 2010), two PGA Championships (2005, 2021) and one Open Championship (2013).

Gee, so we are back to believing all women? Which is it?
