Thank Democrats For Maine Losing An Embarrassing 250th Fair Fight To Pennsylvania

Mainers need to rally and overrule the Democrat killjoys who refused to sponsor a booth at the Great American State Fair in Washington.

Otherwise, Pennsylvania may wind up stealing the spotlight with its own “Spirit of 250” exhibit.

“Pennsylvania’s found a way to get Pennsylvania to the State Fair,” says James Fisk, an avid follower of The Maine Wire. “Are there any Mainers who can get Maine there since our state government refused to participate?”

Fisk raises a great question which was prompted when he read that Pennsylvania’s bipartisan congressional delegation overruled party pooper Democrat Gov. Josh Shapiro and organized a booth at the fair.

Shapiro and his Maine Democrat counterpart, Gov. Janet Mills aka Debbie Downer – along with a number of other Democrat states boycotting Trump’s Fair – are too full of hate for President Trump to lead their states to the expo market America’s 250th birthday.

U.S. Sen. John Fetterman, D-PA, joined with his GOP colleague, U.S. Sen. David McCormick, to help organize a booth at the fair, which runs through July 10.

“Pennsylvania is where America’s story began, and there was no way we were going to let the Commonwealth go unrepresented during our Nation’s 250th birthday celebration,” McCormick said in a press release. “As the birthplace of American independence, home to the hallowed grounds of Gettysburg, and the engine for the arsenal of democracy, Pennsylvania has a special responsibility to preserve, celebrate, and share that enduring legacy.”

The senators’ partner organizations include the PA Chamber, PennAg, Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, NFIB, the Pennsylvania Manufacturers’ Association, and the Manufacturer & Business Association.

“Celebrating America’s 250th birthday and Pennsylvania’s special role in our country is important and bipartisan,” said Fetterman. “We discovered our Commonwealth wasn’t participating in the Great American State Fair on the National Mall and we should be.”

Mills, aka, “Debbie Downer” should be called “Debbie Dirtbag” instead. What a miserable, petulant, embarrassing loser!!

Maine democratic leaders could care less about Maine industry. Good jobs deserting the State top to bottom. The counties are now empty and quiet. Pride Sports, central Maine gone. Lumbra Lumber, Central Maine gone. Moving south. Mills and lying buddies abandoned Mainers due to their incompetence and arrogance. And the point? What embarrassments to us all.

I am watching Fox News this morning as they broadcast live from“ The Fair “ today , and I am thinking the same thing .
I’m sorry to report that Maine has started to morph into a place that I no longer recognize .
If the voters of Maine can’t change the course of this state in November , I am leaving .
I’ve seen enough lawn signs . I’ve heard enough platitudes . I’ve endured enough disappointments .
I have suffered enough fools , and in my face , political corruption insanity in Augusta .
I am getting myself mentally prepared to leave the state I love .

TDS continues to push the already fuct-in-the-head illiberal Marxo-fascist democrats of Maine toward shooting themselves (and the rest of us, unfortunately) in the foot.

And what is the reason to miss the state fair…..Is it because Gov Mills is embarrassed by her behavior along with her TDS?? So the state goes unrepresented at this historic event. How terrible!

The Maine Tourism , Maine Chamber of Commerce were to busy to go? It is not like we did not have enough notice to make sure we could have a good showing. Shame on our so called State leaders on both sides of the aisle. The GOP could have manned the booth too. Our State has become such a joke of a State.

Why would out government leaders be proud of the state? They don’t want to show off because they have ruined Maine and don’t want any coverage of the state.

They could have set up the booth to celebrate the DSA now overtaking Maine at every level.

https://www.dsausa.org/

Please forgive the error of their naming. They really meant to say Socialist Democrats of America.

Hey MEGOP where are you, is there a law that says you cannot man the booth. Aren’t you proud of our State? There is not one Maine business willing to step up. Maine Lobstermens assoc, Potato people, blueberry people, LL Bean, etc.

Thanks to the Good Average Joe’s in Conn. who took over their States booth as the wok Democratic leadership would not join in the 250th calibration. Just like Maine Democratic leader who let their TDS stopped our citizen’s pride.
The democratic leader again is holding Mainers back.

A real journalist would have given readers the whole story instead of writing a political rant.

A real journalist would have given readers the whole story instead of writing a political rant.

I think Mills has been devastating for Maine. However, you never mentioned that participating reportedly could have cost states well over $100,000, with some spending several hundred thousand dollars and Ohio reportedly investing up to $750,000 on its pavilion.

You also left out that Freedom 250 was soliciting corporate sponsorships at $500,000, $1 million, and $2.5 million levels that included VIP access, private receptions, and other recognition benefits. Nor did you mention that the organization says those funds are used to finance the nationwide America 250 celebrations and related events, while questions about the program’s funding and transparency have also become part of the public debate.

You can absolutely argue Maine should have participated anyway. But ignoring the costs, the funding structure, and the taxpayer implications while claiming the decision was simply because Democrats “hate Trump” isn’t journalism.

Do better!

I’m disgusted by the hubris these politicians have, and the utter contempt for the people they allegedly “represent.”. I find it infuriating that these horrible politicians are putting their own perverse beliefs before the citizenry. Shame on Mills and her legion. Shame on every single politician in every state that did this to their people.

You know, maybe we do not have much to promote. A scenery scared by fields of solar panels, mountain tops flattened and topped with wind turbines and their blinking red lights. reflecting off the lake waters. Or the gun play in one of our major cities, rampant drug use, homeless people on our streets not to mention illegals driving around and people with mental illness walking our streets. Some places like Bar Harbor only want some tourists. A Nazi running for congress and the list goes on. So maybe Maine should sit this one out.

Maybe Lewiston should have been asked to jump in and use the booth to promote opportunities for life “the way it should be”. Lots of press clippings available to plaster the inside walls. Along with Police Reports, etc.

What about Portland’s Pride Community?

So much to see here that is unforgettable and makes a lasting impression.

I think this falls into the category of “cutting off your nose to spite your face!” And, she has wasted too much of the State’s money through fraud and mishandling funds to be able to afford to do it!

Remember how Janet bragged about “NEW” Mainer’s filling skilled labor jobs in Maine. All I say about that is, in a pig’s eye. They are doing exceptionally well destroying Maine’s social safety net, and stealing millions of dollars from Mainecare.
