DOE Launches Initiative to Protect Students from Sexual Abuse by School Officials and Teachers

The U.S. Department of Education’s (DOE) Office of Civil Rights (OCR) is working to protect students from sexual predators in schools with a new initiative to crack-down on sexual abuse perpetrated by school teachers and administrators.

“The Trump Administration has observed a troubling and recurring pattern in schools across the nation of credible reports of sexual abuse and harassment by adults in positions of authority going uninvestigated or of suspected offenders being transferred to new schools or roles in the district. When school administrators protect adults accused of assaulting or harassing children from meaningful consequences, enabling them to continue harming kids in another environment, it is referred to as “passing the trash,” said the DOE in its Friday announcement.

The DOE laid out a concerning trend of suspected sexual abusers being transferred to new schools or positions by school administrators rather than being investigated.

To combat that, the DOE issued new guidance to remind schools of their legal obligations to protect students from sexual abuse.

“Schools that receive federal funding have a duty to protect students, report sexual misconduct honestly, and follow the law. Through this initiative, we are holding school districts accountable because every child deserves to learn in a safe environment free from sexual abuse and harassment,” said Secretary of Education Linda McMahon.

The guidance reminds schools that they must maintain policies that prevent employees credibly accused of sexual assault from being transferred to avoid investigation or responsibility.

Schools also must respond promptly to any allegations of sexual harassment and must ensure that students do not face sex-based discrimination, which, under the administration’s interpretation, includes requiring girls to compete and share facilities with trans-identifying males.

The guidance highlighted the fact that in all states teachers are legally required to report any sexual misconduct perpetrated against minors.

“Make no mistake, the Department will fully enforce federal law and employ every
resource at its disposal to protect children from sexual predators. Those schools that
allow sexual misconduct to occur risk the termination of applicable federal assistance provided by the federal government. This epidemic of nationwide sexual
abuse in our schools must end,” said McMahon.

Additionally, the DOE’s OCR is opening 20 new investigations into school districts whose Civil Rights Data Collection submissions for 2023-2024 raised suspicions that they failed to address staff-on-student sexual misconduct.

The DOE did not specify where those 20 districts are, and its webpage listing pending investigations was last updated on January 14, 2025, despite the page claiming that it is updated every Tuesday.

I say make the punishment the death penalty available for all child sex abusers and absolute for people that are supposed to be TRUSTED with our kids. AKA Teachers, administrators, Clergy and caregivers. They temporarily get their fix but destroy the fragile emotional state of the adolescents they prayed on for life!! So why should these disgusting degenerates be allowed to live their lives happily after a slap on the wrist?

This is just pot of the ongoing war on boys, with the presumption that’ it’s only the male teachers who are abusing children. Anyone noticed the number of female teachers winding up pregnant?

But more than this, a far worse and far more extensive evil, are the man hating feminine Nazi teachers who are ruining the lives and futures of male students.

Sexual abuse is wrong, but so is psychological abuse, as is the witch hunt mentality, and forcing male teachers to live in fear of a false accusation, which does happen.

The female run and dominated teaches unions are behind this witch hunt, and I ask parents one question: do you trust the teachers unions on anything else? If you don’t, and you shouldn’t, then why are you trusting them on this?

Every male who doesn’t enter the profession is one more job for their cronies to have.

Yes, in the 1960s and 1970s there were female students dating teachers — and in most cases they wound up marrying them. People forget that part.

It was wrong for variety of reasons, including the fact that is good for a girl to go away to school for at least a year before getting married. But back then, that wasn’t gonna happen, and a male teacher in his early 20s was only a few years older and from the female perspective, a man who gone to college and had a stable job with good benefits.

The ME DOE is a cesspool of hard Left, gay, pro trans, societal misfits. I don’t expect them to truly protect or educate our children.
