Pres. Donald Trump Refuses to Sign Bipartisan Housing Bill in Protest of Congress’ Failure to Pass Election Integrity Legislation

A bipartisan housing bill is set to become law without President Donald Trump’s signature. His decision to not sign the bill comes in protest to the fact that Congress has yet to pass a major piece of election integrity legislation of which he has been a vocal supporter.

The ten-day period in which the president could sign or veto the bill came to end Friday, locking in his choice to allow the bill to enter into law without his signature.

Known as the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, this bipartisan measure seeks to lower the cost of housing and encourage home construction.

This bill was approved in the Senate by a vote of 85-5 and was passed in the House by a margin of 358-32.

As explained by the Associated Press, this measure cuts federal housing regulations, reducing environmental reviews, speeds up the construction process, and limits the ability of corporations to purchase single-family homes.

“I will not sign the Housing Bill, which has been fully approved by Congress and sent to the White House, in PROTEST over the fact that the United States Senate is not capable of passing THE SAVE AMERICA ACT,” Trump posted on social media, referring to the election integrity measure.

The SAVE America Act looks to bar states from accepting and processing a federal voter registration application unless the applicant presents documentation proving U.S. citizenship.

“THE SAVE AMERICA ACT’S non-passage is CRAZY, and a serious threat to any politician who votes against it!” Trump said.

“To me, compared to the SAVE America Act, just about everything is a big yawn,” Trump said to the press last month.

Sure, the people who caused the problem now think they can fix it? I think we have seen this movie before.. Sending the millions of illegals the democrats let would be a step in the right direction. I doubt that is part of the bill though.

Everything other than the Save America Act IS a big yawn in comparison but, based on their track record, don’t expect the corrupt dimwits in Congress to do what’s RIGHT.

Democrats want ALL the illegal aliens that are here to be voting in November .
THAT was the entire reason Cabbage Head Joe and Cackling Kamala let ten million in here .
Why do you think Janey Mills and Sheena Bellows invited all the damn Somalis to Lewiston ?
Democrats want them to vote !

Dems sign that, there goes a good portion of their voting population. Political affiliation aside, 100% should be passed. I can’t go to another country and vote, why people think it is ok to do here just boggles my mind.
