The Maine State Police are investigating the deaths of two adults who were found Monday deceased at a home in Searsmont.

Shortly before 2 p.m. Monday the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on Borough Road in Searsmont where two adults were found deceased.

The Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit-Central was called in to investigate the deaths.

The two deceased adults are being taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta for autopsies to determine the cause and manner of their deaths.

Maine State Police said in a Monday evening press release that there is no risk to the public in relation to this incident.
