A Windham man who operated an account named “Femboy Cassidy” on a messaging application has pleaded guilty to the distribution and possession of child pornography, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maine announced Wednesday.

Cote Noonan, 33, of Windham, pleaded guilty to the charges on Wednesday in a Portland federal court.

Noonan faces a minimum of five years and up to 20 years imprisonment, as well as a fine of up to $250,000 on the distribution of child pornography charge.

On the charge of possessing child pornography involving a prepubescent minor, he faces up to 20 years in prison and a charge of $250,000, to be followed by five years to life of supervised release.

According to court records, in October 2023, Noonan sent an undercover FBI agent three child sexual abuse material videos under the username “Femboy Cassidy” over the instant messaging application TeleGuard.

The videos showed the sexual abuse of young children, including an infant, prosecutors said.

The undercover FBI agent also observed “Femboy Cassidy” share similar content on two other occasions in a chat trading room for child sexual abuse material.

Noonan admitted to operating the “Femboy Cassidy” account to law enforcement , and told law enforcement that they would find child sexual abuse material on his devices.

The FBI seized several devices from Noonan’s home, four of which contained thousands of images and videos depicting child sexual abuse, including of toddlers and infants, prosecutors said.
