The U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Hampshire indicted ten people last Wednesday in connection with a Lawrence and Methuen, Massachusetts-based drug trafficking ring bringing narcotics into New Hampshire.

Law enforcement officials from numerous agencies arrested seven defendants in New Hampshire and Massachusetts for conspiracy to distribute controlled substances.

The drug ring reportedly traffics in fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, and crack cocaine.

The conspiracy charges carry penalties of up to 20 years’ imprisonment.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security led the investigation, with help from the FBI, the U.S. Marshals Service, both the Massachusetts and New Hampshire State Police, and numerous local law enforcement agencies from both states.

Law enforcement has only apprehended seven of the ten people indicted for their roles in the trafficking ring, while the other three remain at large.

  • Michael Martinez, 33, of the Dominican Republic; not yet arrested.
  • Donaida Gonzalez, aka Yijana Rodriguez, 52, of Methuen, MA; in custody.
  • Diana Bautista-Arias, aka Alba Cruz-Solano, 43, of Lawrence, MA; in custody.
  • Eddy Balbuena-Gomez, 30, of Lawrence, MA; in custody.
  • Redondo Dore, 28, of Berlin, NH; in custody.
  • Trevor Mackenzie, 33, of Rochester, NH; in custody.
  • Katie Curtis, 38, of Rochester, NH; in custody.
  • Tabitha O’Brien, 44, of Rochester, NH; in custody.
  • Craig Grant, 41, of Somersworth, NH; not yet arrested.
  • Jamie Bonner, 42, of Somersworth, NH; not yet arrested.

Martinez and Dore face mandatory minimum ten-year imprisonment penalties if convicted, and Curtis faces a mandatory minimum five-year term in prison.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Aaron Gingrande and Jarad Hodes have taken on the case.

The Attorney’s Office did not provide any details on the immigration status of the defendants, and it is unclear whether Martinez, a resident of the Dominican Republic, is in the country legally.
