No legislators working for or receiving campaign donations from any non profit should be allowed to participate in discussions or vote on state budgets. Also any and all legislators on the appropriations committee should be subject to cognitive assessment before serving, specifically someone like Senator Rotundo from lewiston who demonstrates signs of dementia and really should resign to preserve and care for her own health.
