The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team executed two search warrants at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday on Shin Pond Road in Patten. The Department obtained the warrants as part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking in the area.

Deputies arrested Ricky Grant, 43, of Patten on an outstanding arrest warrant and charged him with violating conditions of release and unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs.

Deputies also arrested Tiffany Kaelin, 51, of Patten on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Kaelin previously appeared in court in Houlton in 2023 on charges of methamphetamine possession. She also faced drug charges in 2019.

A Facebook page for a Tiffany Kaelin, who lists her address in Patten, Maine, appears to primarily focus on posts advertising for online gambling websites.

During the search, law enforcement discovered unspecified amounts of cash and illegal drugs.

Both suspects were transported to the Penobscot County Jail.

The Sheriff’s Department and HSI were assisted by K9 unit Memphis, and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency (MDEA).
