Maine’s now-most-notorious disgraced former respected politician has been dragged yet again into the Jeffrey Epstein sex spectacle.
George Mitchell, who’s repeatedly denied having sex with one of Epstein’s underaged, sexually-trafficked girls, was brought up during a congressional interrogation of former First Lady Hillary Clinton.
“Have you ever communicated with any of the following people relating to Jeffrey Epstein or Ghislane Maxwell?” a lawyer for the Republican-led House Oversight Committee asked Hillary, referring to the two famous convicted sexual traffickers.
The lawyer then went through a list of dozens of names – among them George Mitchell of Maine.
The recently released “Epstein files” contain thousands of references to Mitchell, who allegedly had sex with one of his pal’s underaged victims.
When the lawyer got to Mitchell’s name during the deposition Hillary answered with a simple no – denying she had ever talked to Mitchell about either Epstein or Maxwell.
Hillary, who is also a former U.S. senator, voluntarily testified before the committee after she was threatened with contempt for ignoring a subpoena.
The committee is investigating her and her husband’s connection to Maxwell, who attended her daughter’s wedding, and to her co-conspirator pedo boyfriend Epstein.
While Hillary denied ever meeting Epstein or having knowledge of his crimes, the committee questioned her regarding the broader scandal.
At one point during the deposition, tapes of which were released Monday, Hillary started yelling at the congressional panel, banging her hands on the table.
She also threatened to walk out when she was told that one of the committee members was taking pictures during her testimony. “You can hold me in contempt until the cows come home,” Hillary yelled, slamming her fist on the table.
Clinton’s husband, the former president, also appeared under threat of subpoena before the committee to testify about his connection to Epstein.
The ex-president, who was impeached during his own White House sex scandal, was asked by U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., whether he ever told Epstein that “I like ’em young.”
Clinton froze, stuttered and was momentarily speechless, eventually denying he ever told anyone he “likes ’em young.”
The former president also denied remembering someone taking a picture of him in a hot tub with an unidentified Epstein-connected woman.
“I sat in the hot tub for five minutes or whatever it was, and I got up and went to bed,” Clinton told Republican U.S. Rep. Nick Langworthy of New York.
When asked whether he had sex with the woman, Clinton denied doing so.
“I don’t know who that is,” he claimed when he was asked the person’s name.
