Last Thursday, May 7, the MDEA, along with the Maine State Police Tactical Team, executed a search warrant at 206 Sweden Street in Caribou.

The warrant was obtained following an investigation conducted by the MDEA and Caribou Police Department into alleged trafficking activities from that address.

During the warrant execution, police reportedly seized over 200 grams of fentanyl and a sawed-off 20-gauge shotgun.

As a result of the investigation, police arrested:

  • Jose Rosado, 49, of Caribou on charges of aggravated trafficking of Schedule W drugs. He was issued a $10,000 bail.
  • Ariel Rosado, 49, of Caribou on charges of aggravated trafficking of Schedule W drugs and a probation violation. He was issued a $10,000 bail.
  • Justin Murphy, 41, of Caribou on charges of aggravated trafficking of Schedule W drugs and a probation violation. He was issued a $10,000 bail.
  • Andrea Tranthum, 33, of Caribou on charges of aggravated trafficking of Schedule W drugs and a probation violation. She was issued a $10,000 bail.
  • Tyana McLaughlin, 26, of Caribou, on charges of aggravated trafficking of Schedule W drugs. She was issued a $1,000 bail.

More arrests are expected in connection with the case.

Jose?
Rosado?
From Caribou?
Nope. Not believing it.
Why don’t you say “Hiding in Caribou while they sell drugs”?
Far more accurate statement.
