At approximately 4:32 a.m., police responded to the area of 326 Pine Hill Road after reports of a fight taking place in the street.
Minutes after the report, a neighbor called to report a person outside their door with a stab wound in his neck.
A witness captured the alleged stabbing on video and turned the video over to police.
The victim was identified as a 19-year-old from Rochester, N.H., and was transported by ambulance to Wentworth Douglas Hospital in Dover, N.H.
He was treated for his injuries and has since been released.
Witnesses allegedly told police that the suspect, along with another individual, fled before officers arrived in a gray 2004 Volkswagen Jetta.
After investigating the incident, police obtained an arrest warrant for Ethan Samuelk Saint-Val, 23, of Rochester, N.H., for a charge of elevated aggravated assault.
The Rochester Police Department made contact with a family member of the suspect and encouraged them to turn him in.
At approximately 2:15 p.m., Saint-Val reportedly turned himself in to the Berwick Police Department.
He was booked and transported to a hospital for medical treatment and has since been transferred to jail, where he is being held without bail pending his arraignment on June 22.
This is not Saint-Val’s first arrest. He was previously arrested in Rochester, N.H., in 2022 on felony criminal mischief charges after he allegedly caused thousands of dollars in damages with graffiti.
