Jean Pierre Gendron, 61, was arrested last August by the Londonderry, N.H., Police Department as he was exiting a bus from Westbrook out of state.
On August 7, 2025, Gendron entered the Chase Bank located at Rock Row in Westbrook and handed the teller a note demanding money.
He fled the bank with $6,300 in a blue bank bag. The Westbrook Police Department quickly identified Gendron as the robber, but only after he had already boarded a bus to N.H.
When he was arrested, he was found with the bank bag and cash and admitted to robbing the bank.
For the bank robbery charge, Gendron faces up to 20 years in prison, a fine of $250,000, and up to three years of supervised release.
