Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Graham Platner was absent from this year’s Oysterfest in Freeport, and his company, Waukeag Neck Oyster Company, did not have a booth at the event despite the presence of numerous oyster growers from across Maine.
The Maine Wire was at the event on Saturday, but America’s most-notable oyster farmer was nowhere to be found.

Several Platner campaign staffers attended the event and confirmed that the candidate would not be appearing. Instead, they encouraged attendees to participate in a town hall Platner is scheduled to hold Wednesday in Cumberland.
Platner has frequently highlighted his work as an oyster farmer during his Senate campaign, portraying his experience in Maine’s aquaculture industry as part of his political identity. However, critics have questioned the extent of his involvement in the industry.

Those questions have been amplified by The Maine Wire, whose editor-in-chief, Steve Robinson, recently appeared on Fox News and challenged Platner’s credentials as an oyster farmer.
Oysterfest is one of Maine’s premier annual celebrations of the state’s oyster industry, drawing growers, seafood vendors and thousands of visitors from across the region.

And WHO is surprised by this news ?
Mark my words : Platner will do a hide in the porta potty campaign similar to Biden’s basement strategy .
He can’t answer complex questions without his New York handlers passing him the answers and he knows it .
Platner isn’t smart enough to be a US Senator …..EVERYONE including democrats know it .
He’s a socialist communist party hand puppet who will hide from as much scrutiny as he can until November .
Your opening line, “Former Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Graham Platner” caught my eye. Did I miss something? Isn’t he still the Democratic U.S. Senate candidate? Are you making a prediction? Inquiring minds want to know
He’s also 100% mentally disabled according to the government he wants to run
He must have been in one of the porta-potties listening to his favorite playlist consisting of such hits as: Michael Jackson’s ‘Beat It’, Chuck Berry’s ‘My Ding-a-ling’, AC/DC’s ‘Big Balls’, Billy Squires’ ‘The Stoke’, along with several others.
mein oyster fuhrer sent his brown shirts instead.
When will he announce his night of the long knives?
He won’t come out of his shell.
Why would he be there, he has no extra oysters for sale, he does not want or need new customers. More customers means more work,.
If he wanted to take his campaign seriously he’d have shown up but we’re not surprised that he’s all for the money, right? Dumber than a bag of rocks. There will be a bait and switch, he’ll swap places with Mills last minute and I won’t be shocked at all.
Has anyone else noticed they don’t publicize where he will be speaking?
