A social-media influencer who wondered the best way to entertain a girlfriend in northern Maine, went to the source.
Who better to dish on romance than Troy Jackson who, The Maine Wire chief editor Steve Robinson reports, ‘married’ in to his own family in Allagash, pop. 240.
“Just caught up with Troy Jackson in DC – asked him for some dating advice since he apparently knew the right places to take his cousin,” Matthew Foldi posted on X.
“What is a good date night spot in that part of the state?” Foldi asks Jackson, explain that his friend is taking a girlfriend to Acadia National Park.
“Anywhere that we need to check out near Acadia, Bar Harbor?”
Jackson mentions a possibility of going to a great restaurant.
“My favorite hike is up and Aroostook County if you want to go up there,” Jackson adds.
To Jackson’s credit, he took the whole thing in good humor, not trying to shoo Foldi away but glad to entertain his kinky questions.
Foldi is a former congressional candidate and chief editor of WashingtonReporter.news providing “center-right coverage of the Hill.”
He is also a reporter for The Spectator and former journalist for the Washington Free Beacon.
Foldi ran unsuccessfully four years ago in western Maryland’s Sixth Congressional District.
