The Westbrook Police Department arrested a homeless man on Friday after he allegedly followed a woman around a store while masturbating.

At approximately 1:40 p.m., the Westbrook Police Department received a call from a woman reporting that she was actively being followed by a man who was “engaging in a sexual act.”
Police arrived at the store and quickly located the suspect near the store.
Following further investigation, he was identified as Ty O’Neil, 25, homeless.
He was arrested and charged with indecent conduct and disorderly conduct and was transported to the Cumberland County Jail.
The Westbrook Police informed the public that, though the incident was alarming, such things are rare in Westbrook.
